Brexton was playing during tummy time...I took clothes back to the bed and came back to him sounds asleep! I guess he got too comfy!

Crazy Hair ;)

Typically, we brush Brexton's hair after a bath to prevent craddle cap, but tonight we didn't.....

....pretty sure that crazy wave is just the beginning of the curls that his dad has!!! He also hasn't lost any of his hair from birth!!

This is a crazy busy time for Kory between planting the crops and AIing our cows so we don't see much of him. However, he was home one night to help with bath time....don't think it really mattered to Brexton if he was home or not but mommy sure enjoyed the help (I was able to get a few pictures too!)!! For the most part Brexton doesn't mind his baths...as long as the water is quite warm!

5 Weeks Old

Today was also my due date, but I'm celebrating being healthy and 5 weeks old already!!!!

What a fun night to celebrate with them! Leslie and Dustin had had their ultrasound earlier that day. She had the technician write the gender of the baby on a piece of paper and sealed the envelope. Then they headed back to Rockville. When it came time for the big reveal, we all stood in front of a sign saying which gender we were guessing. They both were guessing girl. Then, Leslie opened the envelope!

Congrats Leslie and Dustin!! We couldn't be more excited for you guys!!

A glimpse at our weekend...

Our family had a busy past weekend! Brexton got to meet a lot of family and friends for the first time! He was such a trooper! Friday night we went to Rockville and had supper with the Burki Family. Paislie was so protective over Brexton. Anytime someone would come to look at Brexton in the carseat, she was right there making sure no one touched him! At one point she even told Austin to stay back because he was getting to close! Paislie is so in love with Baby Brexton already! After supper there was a Gender Reveal Party for Danielle's cousin Leslie and Dustin. On Saturday, we spent the day with Kory's sister, Kara, helping her get ready for prom. Her boyfriend, Seth's family was also back and we had a good time with them. His sister Ruth loved snuggling Brexton! On Sunday, we went to back to Kory's home church, Burr Oak, in the country; then lunch with the Ostrand family. During all the craziness, we still found time to play and snuggle as a family!
