Weekend in Omaha

This weekend was the annual ice skating and shopping trip to Omaha with my family! It was a fun time as usual! We headed out on Saturday morning and made our way to Omaha. We made a couple stops on our way and meet up with my other two sisters in at the hotel in Omaha! We decided to ice skate first since it wasn't as busy! It was a perfect afternoon! Brexton took a nap so we were able to sit inside the tent and watch with we kept warm! When we headed back into the hotel, we hit up the manger's reception at the hotel for snacks and drinks! We enjoyed supper at the Mattress Factory later, and then swimming when we returned to the hotel!

Sunday morning, we enjoyed the hotel breakfast buffet and then SHOPPING...the guys favorite part of the trip! :) It started snowing later in the afternoon while we were shopping at the outdoor mall... definitely put you in the Christmas spirit! :) We made our way back to Lincoln to shop at the Fort and supper at Cheddars! It was a perfect weekend....Brexton did great!!

A beautiful wooden rocking horse handmade by Uncle Jim in Idaho! Uncle Jim has been so good to our family and made several items for our home, but this is far more the most beautiful keepsake!! Brexton has had fun showing it off to all of his family and friends that have come over during the holidays! Thanks so much Uncle Jim! We can't wait until you come back for the reunion!!

Brexton and I spent the afternoon with daddy and Papa Neil looking at cows and heifers up north! We are pretty sure Brexton has his daddy's love for cattle because he can't hardly get enough of them! He would of given anything if daddy would of taken him with him while he was walking through the heifers! It won't be long and he will be daddy's sidekick!

I like to EAT

So far, Brexton is a great eater! He especially loves eating whatever we are eating! He also prefers to feed himself and does a great job with it! Hopefully, we won't have to worry about having a picky eater!

Brexton and I attended the first UNK indoor track meet!! Kristi wasn't able to compete due to a knee injury which was sad. We were able to watch her sister Kelli get a personal best in triple and she rocked the long jump too! It's going to be a fun track season to watch both of the girls! I hope Brexton enjoys track as much as his mommy!! :) Thanks to the Schukar boys, Brexton had a Future Loper Track shirt to wear!!

Paislie asked Brexton if he wanted to go visit Santa with at the firehall in Ansley this Saturday! He wasn't sure what to think at first, then decided he didn't like him! We were able to get a cute picture of the kiddos at the end!

We love this time of year!!
