Gender Reveal Party

On Sunday, we had a party with our family and church life group to share the gender of our baby!  It was a blast!!  The majority of the guests had never been to a party like this before so we tried to make it a memorable one!  On the invite, we asked people to wear pink or blue according to what they thought the gender of our baby was.  We also had them make a tally on a chalkboard when they arrived.  On the tables , I printed up a list of different wives tales to see how true they really are.  We served blue filled cake pops announcing the gender and brownie ice cream sundaes.  After announcing the gender, we also had everyone write on a scrapbook paper name ideas and any advice or blessings they had for us or the baby!

We had fun planning and using as many different pink and blue things as we could!  A special thanks to my sister Britney for doing all of the baking!  It was amazing!!!

Thanks to my mom, Denise, and Lindsey for the pictures...here are some:

it's a BOY :)

As people came in, we asked them mark if they thought it was going to be a boy or a girl!   Boy won the vote  26-20

We already knew it was a boy, but thought we needed a picture :)

We want to thank everyone again for coming to our party!  You all made it extra special!  Also, huge thanks to the family and friends who helped set and clean up...we couldn't of done without you!  We can not wait for our little boy to meet all of you!!

Let the planning and shopping begin! :)
