Kentucky Vacation

We took our first family vacation to Kentucky!  We even flew down there and Brexton did great!  The way out he actually only slept during our layover in the airport, but on the way home he slept both flights...probably since we were flying at 6 am!!  

Kory's brother, Kyle, was in a wedding in Lousville, KY.  We got to know the bride and groom since the groom was in Kyle's wedding!  The couple was so gracious to open up their home for us to stay in while we were there!  We also couldn't pass up a chance to spend time with Marquette and Miss Breckette too!  

The first day we were there, we went with the groom, Brad, and his family to Churchill Downs!  It was actually race day so we got to experience the racing atmosphere!  The guys even got into betting on the horses!  Unfortunately, I think we left more money there than we came home with!!  

Saturday was wedding day!  We just spent the morning hanging out and made lunch.  Then we were off to the wedding!  It was a beautiful outdoor wedding at this farm!  The farm had a greenhouse plus petting zoo that was open to us!!  There were also outdoor games, kids table, and other fun things at the wedding!!

On Sunday, we attended church with the newleyweds and Brad's family!  We ate brunch then went to hang out at the Abel residence!  They have an old car they took out for a cruise!  Brexton fell in love with their chickens!  haha  They even had a four-wheeler they got to cruise around on!  

Towards evening time, Brexton and Breckette stayed with Nana and Papa and we went out with Kyle, Marquette, Brad, and Amber.  We walked this new beautiful bridge that was recently built!  Then off to supper to Kyle and Marquette at Cheesecake factory.

We had a wonderful time in beautiful Kentucky!!  Thank you Brad and Amber, and Vincent and Marla for all you did for us!!  We can not wait to come back and hope you can visit Nebraska again SOON!!
