We held Brexton's birthday party the Friday before his birthday. Daddy was insistent that he needed to go to Connealy's bull sale on Saturday so we couldn't do it then. (The sale he was headed to last year when I was in labor!) The party was perfect! The party was a John Deere theme, of course! The menu was brisket sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, veggie cups, snicker/apple salad, chips, dirt cake, cupcakes, ice cream, popcorn with m&m's, lemonade, and root beer! Brexton loved his cake and really got into opening his presents! It was so fun to have our family, friends, NICU nurse, and even Brexton's friends to help us celebrate (and wished we could of had more)! We even got to skype with Uncle Kyle, Aunt Marquette, and the new cousin, Breckette during the party!
We are thankful for our family, life group, friends, and our new family we have made with our NICU nurses!! We couldn't have gotten through this first year without you all!! Thanks again to all who had a hand in making Brexton's party perfect!
