On Monday, we went to the zoo in Denver. We were a little hesitant going because the morning forcast was calling for rain....lots of it. We didn't have anything else to do so we decided to try and see what we could before the rain set in. We got the zoo, settled Brexon into the stroller without the carseat, and headed to get tickets...then its starts to sprinkle. We had tickets for the elephant show so we mapped out our path to get there on time. It continued to sprinkle. Just as we were ready to head out of the indoor monkey display it started pouring rain! We waited there until it let up a little. It continue to rain, sprinkle, and mist for the next hour. We weren't having as much fun as we thought because all of the animals were staying inside with the rain and we were wet and cold, so we decided to head out. We a great lunch at Olive Garden before making our way back home to Nebraska.

We had a wonderful time away from the farm for a couple days. Brexton did great traveling and being away from home!! This trip was only the beginning of many more family vacations together!!
