My first 4th of July :)
The fourth was a hot day this year! We invited the Burki family to spend the day with us and had so much fun together! Paislie is the best BIG sister to Brexton! We attended the parade in Sumner in the morning! There weren't as many floats as usual but lots of tractors...and of course CANDY!! And having Paislie sitting with us, I'm sure we got twice as much thrown at us!
After the parade, we made our way to the annual Shoemaker get together at Kenneth and Cheryls. The day consisted of eating lunch, playing pasture golf (which A.J. was the champion!), playing toys in the air conditioning, eating, playing at the river, yard games, visiting, eating some more, volleyball, eating supper, softball, and the grand finale...FIREWORKS. It was so hot, Brexton and I spend a lot of time inside, but that gave Brexton the chance to meet everyone and mommy got to visit a lot! :) Thanks Burki's for joining us and to the Shoes for a FUN day!!!
