Kory's family headed out this past week for their vacation to California! We opted to stay home this trip in hopes of taking our first vacation as a family of 3. Last minute, we decided to head out to Denver to make a surprise appearance when his family returned to the hotel after their flight landed. We told Julie we were in CO only minutes after their flight landed to get directions to where they were going to be, but told he to keep it a secret. We headed to the hotel and only two minutes later did their shuttle arrive from the airport! Neil walked right by Kory in the car. Marquette was headed the same direction until Kory said..."um mam" :) Boy was she shocked!!
From the hotel, we all headed down to Littleton, CO to visit some friends who had also purchased bred heifers and a bull from us! We had supper and headed out to see their herd. Kory's family and us stayed in a hotel in Littleton that night.
The next morning, we headed down the outlet malls in Castle Rock. We rocked the sales, especially for Brexton. From there, we headed back up to Denver to the Cinch outlet for jeans for Kory. Brexton also got his first official Cinch shirt that he will be able to wear this fall. Pretty sure he will be the most handsome cowboy ever...sorry Daddy!! :) After a full day of shopping, we checked into the hotel and met up the the Behren family for supper and a visit to Bass Pro Shop.
On Sunday, Neil, Julie, Kyle, Marquette, and us headed to church at Northern Hills. We ate brunch at IHOP and everyone headed their different directions and Kory and I began our short family vacation!
It was so fun to finally surprise these two for once!! :) Love you guys
